Dr. Thompson is a Licensed Psychologist with a speciality in neuropsychology. She offers consultation, primarily to our clinical staff, as needed in regard to complex neuropsychological cases. She is currently a full-time provider at Terrell State Psychiatric Hospital, in Terrell Texas where she spends the majority of her time on the child and adolescent unit.

Dr. Thompson received her doctorate and master's degrees from the Texas School of Professional Psychology in Dallas, which is associated with Argosy University. She also provided neuropsychological services for Applied Psychology Group out of Sherman, Texas, as well as the Austin Center for Therapy and Assessment, in Austin Texas.  She has taught and supervised master's and doctoral level psychology students and interns for several years.
